Innovative Pest Management’s President and Technical Director is Richard D. Kramer, Ph.D. a Board Certified Entomologist (BCE) in Urban Entomology. With over 35 years experience in pest management, he is the only entomologist in the DC-Baltimore metropolitan area that holds a Ph.D.

All of our service personnel are certified pesticide applicators (MD, VA and/or DC) and at a minimum are certified in categories including general household pests, rodents and termites. Several of our personnel are certified in turf and ornamental, bird, mosquito and wildlife management. Our personnel have worked as technicians, supervisors, and/or entomologists for pest management contracts with numerous commercial office and residential properties including the Ronald Reagan National Airport, Smithsonian National Zoological Park, National Institutes of Health Laboratory, the World Bank, The United States Secret Service and the Holocaust Memorial Museum. All of our personnel attend continuing education programs offered throughout the region and participate in monthly in-house training provided by Dr. Kramer. Although a staff entomologist is rarely required for pest management contracts, Dr. Kramer enjoys interacting with customers and is readily available to assist you with any pest management problem.
